Layout & Access
There is step-free access into the building. The front door is automatic, but after the front door there are two sets of manual fire doors to open. Reception has multiple levels so you can speak to customers who are either stood or sat. We have turnstiles to enter/exit however there is a gate that is opened by receptionists. There are toilets/changing rooms/cafe/shop/bouldering walls and gym facilities on the ground floor. The centre is made up of multiple climbing walls (zones)which are matted individually - which means there are concrete walkways between each area, these walkways are wide and level. There is a side exit which opens to the garden area, which is wheelchair accessible. There is a top-out wall which leads to a very small extra bouldering area which features low-reach climbs, however this low-reach area is only accessible via stairs or climbing over the top-out wall. The top-out wall itself also requires climbers to use the stairs at the top instead of down-climbing. There is also a mezzanine floor with a training area, woody board, circuit board and traverse wall - this floor has no lift access.
Music
The centre will turn music down or off if requested at any time.
nICAS Ascend
They do not currently offer NICAS Ascend
