Competency
There is a safety video for climbers to watch which is captioned. Competency is assessed via verbal, visual questioning and physical demonstrations.

Layout & Access
Climbing centre is situated within a larger sports complex and shares some facilities such as toilets and changing areas. If accessing through main building (Sports Centre) there are multiple ramped access points and a lift down to the climbing wall level. Within the climbing centre, the reception, shop, main roped climbing area and bouldering is on the lower floor. This is all accessible from step free side door. There is a mezzanine level which contains the training area. This area can only be accessed via stairs with no lift.
Music
The centre play background music and will turn the music off if requested at any time.

Anything Else...
Downclimbs are around the centre. The route setting schedule is uploaded to the website. Off peak times are Monday -Friday 11:00 - 17:00 (Wednesday is student day and can be very busy)
