Waiver Information

Waivers can be filled out online via personal devices or in the centre via portable tablets. Climbers are not expected to watch any safety videos as part of the safety briefing.

Competency

Climbers are asked to show their competency before climbing which can be assessed through verbal questions, visual questions, multiple choice questions and physical demonstrations

There is a car park that is open to all customers. There are wider bays present but these are not currently marked out as disabled bays.

Layout & Access

There is flat access into the building through a set of double doors. The doors are manual but staff are on hand to help open them if needed. 

All of the climbing spaces are on the ground floor with the exception of our wheelchair abseil which is on the mezzanine above (accessible by lift). There are two gender neutral toilets immediately to the right as you enter the building and a small seating area. Moving forwards you have a bouldering section to the right and 5 shorter top rope walls directly in front of you. Moving left we have 19 taller walls for both top rope and lead climbing.

Music 

The centre play music as standard but will turn the music down or off at anytime if requested

Climb Kent don't do any route setting during public opening hours.

Staff have all completed disability inclusion training with some completing additional training from Access Sport aswell. A number of staff are also trained in wheelchair and assisted abseiling and adaptive rope systems to provide extra support
