There is a safety video for climbers to watch which is captioned. Competency is assessed via verbal questioning and physical demonstration.

Layout & Access
The main door is automatic with no steps. There is lift access to all floors in the climbing centre. The bouldering is on the top floor & toilets are on the second floor. The cafe is on the ground floor. There is a ramp to get up to the matting which covers the entire climbing area.
Music
The centre play background music but will turn it off or down at any time if requested.

Staff undertake annual disability training including on how to use the hoist. A paraclimbing evening is hosted every Thursday evening with a designated staff member to assist with belaying. Quiet time is between 2pm - 4pm on Friday when music is turned off / down and there is no drilling. The route setting timetable is available on Instagram and on a board in the centre. There are no downclimb holds.
