Layout & Access
The main doors into the gym are manual. The main climbing area, gym and traverse wall is in the basement and can only be accessed via three flights of stairs. There is no lift access. Due to regulations, everyone in the main climbing area must be able to use the stairs by themselves. There is an additional smaller bouldering area with a toilet on street level. This is usually accessed via stairs, but there is a door at street level for step free access if needed.
Music
The centre always plays background music and will turn the music down or off if requested during off-peak times.
nICAS Ascend
They do not currently offer NICAS Ascend
Anything Else...
The gym is quite busy on the weekdays after work, and during peak times, it can get quite crowded and loud. Off peak times are on the weekdays during the day (9am-3pm), and it is usually pretty quiet during off peak times. They can turn the music down/off if requested during off peak times.
They generally route set on Wednesday or Thursday. This can change due to events and competitions. The resetting schedule can be found on the website under the resources tab.
