A great example of an inclusive paraclimbing comp is UK Paraclimbing Collective's annual bouldering competition with HarroWall. This comp is in it's 4th year, and over the years it has developed to meet the needs of the paraclimbing community. Whilst no competition is perfect, it's a great place to look if you want ideas for making your local comps more inclusive.

On the 24th January 2026, Access to Climb were thrilled to be invited to attend Grit's inaugural paraclimbing festival at 270 Climbing. The day was a true celebration of our community, organised and ran by local paraclimbers, it was an all round brilliant event.

At the end of October 2025, ABC Walls & Development through Change hosted the inaugural inclusive climbing conference. Aim2Change was imagined and created by a steering group of disabled people, and aimed to shine a light on inclusive climbing.
